Greater Niagara Medical Imaging

I went for a x-ray. Had to go to the 464 Welland Ave location as it was the only one with later hours. They have had their main parking closed for months with some parking across the street. As I have mobility issues, it was not possible to walk that far. I had to park in a no parking area close to the door, and when I explained that to the receptionist, I was told to park across the street or risk being ticketed. I tried to explain that that was impossible for me because of my mobility issues, but she was cold and uncaring. But the real kicker was when my x-ray was over. The technician was competent, but also quite cool towards me. Is there a company policy that prohibits employees smiling or showing any warmth towards patients? Anyway, I had to remove my pants for the x-ray (it was for my lower spine) because they had metal zippers in them. I took them off in the x-ray room and the tech covered me with a gown during the actual x-rays. After the x-ray, I got off the table and started to walk over to the chair where my pants were (I'm wearing only my top and underwear) when the door swings wide open and a woman (staff?) strides in and goes down a hallway adjoining the x-ray room. The tech holds the door wide open, and people in the hallway outside the door could clearly see me standing there with no pants on. I said a couple of times, "Please, I'm not wearing any pants!" to the tech who was holding the door wide open as I attempted to cover myself. Finally the woman who initially entered, comes back down the hallway, looks at me and giggles (seriously!) and goes back out the door and the tech also exits, finally closing the door. I got dressed as quickly as possible and left. I've never been treated with such a lack of respect and dignity before. They allowed me to be exposed wearing only my top and underwear to people in the hallway! It's clear this clinic is only interested in getting as many people in and out as possible to make as much money as possible. As for actual patients, they don't care about us at all. I hope I never have to go to a Gnmi again, ever.
